Canada's Broken Immigration System - More Points For Higher Salary Jobs?
This makes no sense. The higher the compensation the more qualifying points an entry candidate receives?
And when was this " International Talent Attraction Strategy" launched? I have never heard of it. Of note, 112,000 jobs lost year to date in 2026 in Canada, 6.9% unemployment rate (60% higher than USA at 4.3%). Youth unemployment in Canada at +14%.
