International Students by the Numbers (Actually by the Hundreds of Thousands)

When the virtuous Liberals even say something is "less diverse" or not diverse enough you know it's not good or has been a government failure. Over 500,000 international students (most of which are from India overtaking China) approved to live in Canada, study at Canadian universities, and work part time yet Canada is a country of "systemic racism".

Toronto Star: Canada’s international students are becoming less diverse. Here’s why Ottawa says that’s a problem.

Liberals Focus on Permanent Residents Rather Than Immigrants in 401,000 Annually

Permanent residents have all the rights and privileges as a Canadian Citizen even access to healthcare. However, unable to vote.  They are also able to accept such status in another country and move there.

During one of the most economically difficult times, Liberals are focused in 401,000 approved to enter Canada in 2021.  Not where thr jobs are coming from

Canada Immigration News: IRCC: Canada welcomed over 35,000 new immigrants in June.

Our Reconciliation Seeking Federal Liberal Government Cannot Even "Consult" Properly: Tries to Eliminate Already Signed Agreement With First Nations by Playing the "What's Good For All First Nations" and Climate Change

Despite already having an agreement in place with the Ermineskin and the coal miner, Liberals find ways to kill economic benefits and interests for First Nations.

"...The Ermineskin argued Wilkinson had failed to consult the Nation before putting Vista through the impact assessment process. The decision would impact its Aboriginal and treaty rights, the Ermineskin argued, by lessening, delaying or eliminating its economic interest in the expansion.

Wilkinson argued he had no duty to consult the Nation, and disputed that the loss of any economic, social and community benefits laid out in the impact benefit agreement were an infringement on Aboriginal and treaty rights.

Brown disagreed, writing that the Crown’s duty to consult clearly extends to Indigenous communities’ economic rights and benefits.

Liberals Lowering Thresholds to Lowest Scores Ever in Attaining Aggressive Permanent Resident Immigration Goals: Is Canada Getting the Best From Its Sacred Institution?

The Climate Crusade Marches On...To No End

What is the finish line? To end all tornadoes, wild fires, floods from late winter break ups where the same incident(s) are shown repeatedly on the several Twitter, Facebook, Tik tok, YouTube platforms that many of us have thereby implanting on our brains thr one isolated example as repetitive? Is reducing global temperatures the panacea to all of this? Curb population growth to stop those pesky gases that are too blame?

"....The trick is to figure out how to cut emissions from those sources without crippling the economies they underpin. So far, no one has found the key. Killing all the cows and sheep, shutting down (or blowing up) pipelines and banning oil production might work, but nobody outside the most demented extremists seriously wants to try. We had a test run with the COVID pandemic, which produced a record drop in emissions thanks to the virtual shuttering of normal life. Lockdowns and border restrictions caused air and land transport to plummet. Millions of jobs were lost, businesses went bankrupt, social problems proliferated. Hands up everyone who wants to do it all again in the name of lower emissions..."

Is Oil, Or More Importantly, Oil Equities, Finished? (Hint: Is Trudeau a Pipeline Lover?)

 http://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/energy-crisis-ahead-nuttall-makes-case-for-100-oil-1.1631926

"...The demand for oil will grow for at least the next ten years, and yet the fear of peak demand by some, is leading to the reality of peak supply.” said Nuttall. “In terms of the oil price this is a good level to allow OPEC to gradually bring on oil production and to get closer to the exhaustion of their spare capacity by some time next year.”

Nuttall’s bull case for crude prices is based off global super majors like BP Plc and Royal Dutch Shell Plc leaning into renewables, OPEC’s reluctance to drastically boost production, as well as projections that U.S. shale production growth will remain tempered.

“I think we’re entering into an energy crisis in the years ahead, that will result in meaningfully higher oil prices and meaningfully higher oil stock prices as well.” said Nuttall.

Canada's First Nations: Systemic Racism or Failed, Bad Policies

"...The reason for this is not “systemic racism.” Canada was underpopulated and if New France had not passed into the hands of the British just before the American colonies seceded from the British Empire, it would have been assimilated into the United States. If the British governor, Sir Guy Carleton, had not succeeded, after four years of lobbying, in gaining adoption of the Québec Act by the British Parliament in 1774, the French Canadians would have accepted the invitation of George Washington and Benjamin Franklin (who was sent packing from Montreal), to join the Americans. In either scenario, the Indigenous Peoples of Canada would have had a much more difficult time with the American government than they have had with Canada. Many natives on American soil sought refuge in Canada including the great Chief Sitting Bull, who defeated the Seventh Cavalry and killed General George Armstrong Custer at the Battle of the Little Bighorn on June 25, 1876 (274 American dead)...."

Do Canadians Really Know How the Housing Market Works? You've Heard of the CMHC - Not Such a Good Thing After All

"...The CMHC was created in 1946 to help Second World War soldiers access affordable mortgages. This was a noble pursuit, however its mandate ballooned to absurd proportions. It now insures mortgages with down payments of less than 20 per cent, thus eliminating lending risk for banks. It also runs a First-Time Home Buyer Incentive Program that not only encourages young Canadians to take on more debt, but gives the federal government a share of new homeowners’ equity. This puts the government in a position where it needs the housing bubble to inflate indefinitely not only to rake in profits, but avert a disastrous scenario where it ends up on the hook for widespread mortgage defaults...."

"...10 churches were vandalized in Alberta on Canada Day alone..."

"...Why, following this stream of attacks, is almost everyone so calm?... So why is a whole series of attacks on Christian churches receiving only routine coverage?

"...Here’s a question: If 10 or 20 holy places from any other major religion had been attacked, and in a matter of just a few weeks, what would have been the reaction from governments and the news media?

There would have been a storm on all fronts. Reassurances from the politicians. Visits to the various sites. Relentless questions from the media. Sermons from all altars. Grave condemnations of these horrible “hate crimes.” You would be hearing the familiar line “this is not who we are” from sad-eyed leaders. Governor General and Her Bilingualism: Unnecesary Comment During These Times From Mary Simon

Like it or not, the recent GG is not bilingual, meaning in Canada's two official languages;  however ticks the first nations box after the horrific events of children 's graves being discovered (and concidentally several Catholic churches also horrifically being burned down).

After the disastrous previous pick, maybe all the boxes could not have been ticked. Maybe the bilingual aspect could have been relaxed with an explanation or an effort to learn it over the upcoming term.

But no, going beyond the reference to English and French as the two official languages and stepping into the lions' den of knowing questions, her response was more than flippant but childish and instigatorly.

"...Knowing 11 years ago that she could well become a candidate in the future, Simon nevertheless chose not to take up the challenge of acquiring functional French (which is not rocket science, as several anglophone party leaders have discovered over the last several decades).

...The only fly in the ointment is Simon’s near-complete unfamiliarity with French. She knew this would be a sticking point, and had a zingy, but disingenuous, response at the ready, one I believe must have been vetted (or perhaps suggested) by the prime minister: she said she was indeed bilingual, only “my bilingualism is in Inuktitut and English.”..."

Count bilingualism as part of another Canadian institution being eroded by our appointed and elected officials.

Canadian Borders Opening? Of Course, Just in Time for an Election

Of course, Canadians blindly believe it is due to the science.

"...The Trudeau government seems to have adopted a similar approach: strenuously urge people to get their vaccines, promise relief when a certain level is achieved, then change the requirements when the goal has been reached.

Indeed, as the number of vaccinated Canadians rises, federal officials have started warning about new strains of the virus and the danger they might represent, as a means of justifying their refusal to stick to the schedule. Any time an outbreak occurs anywhere in the world, it’s another opportunity for Canadian officials to disavow the existing target and set a new one..."

Christian School Wins Against Virtuous Liberals' Summer Jobs Funding Policies

"...Tuesday’s Federal Court decision effectively concluded that Redeemer University hadn’t been rejected out of any red flags in its application, but because of a “cursory search of the Internet” to which Redeemer hadn’t been given the chance to respond.

“If the concern of (Service Canada) was that Redeemer discriminated based on sexual orientation, there was no contemporaneous evidence of that in the file,” wrote the Federal Court decision.

Justice Mosley added “there is no evidence … that (Service Canada) made any overt attempt to consider Redeemer’s rights to freedom of religion, freedom of expression or freedom of association in considering its application.”

Said Polizogopoulos, “I don’t know what changed other than we held the government’s feet to the fire.”..."

Is Reconciliation Possible Without Recognition of Catholic Churches Being Burned Down?

Only one politician that has used somewhat blunt words (at least, one word) to call the acts of burning churches what it is. The other political leaders as spineless as they are including our own PM have used "unacceptable".  How would such a word as "unacceptable" been received from such communities when a family was involved in a fatal hit and run, murders at a mosque in Quebec, a synagogue vandalized, or even during a hoax of a torn off hijab incident. Thr media and politics have obligingly stayed out of their duties to call out hate crime on this one.

"...At time of writing, exactly one federal party leader has publicly condemned what is now a quite astonishing church-burning epidemic in Indigenous communities in four provinces. In a tweet on Monday, Conservative leader Erin O’Toole called it “appalling,” which it surely is at a bare minimum.... But in the meantime, you would think denying Indigenous people a place of prayer, comfort and inspiration might rouse a lot more anger than it has — in politics and in the media alike.

"...But surely it’s inconceivable they  [politicians] would stay silent if this were a spate of urban church-burnings. They certainly wouldn’t keep their powder dry if a single mosque, synagogue, gurdwara or other minority religion’s house of worship was deliberately torched, never mind a succession of them. On what principle can they justify silence with respect to another minority: Indigenous Christians?.."
