What is wrong with being an ongoing employee with annual raises, performance reviews, benefits and a few extra bucks in your picket from no union dues? ? Rather than a snarly contract negotiation every few years?
And why haven't governments and unions either figured out how to begin negotiations much earlier than August each time or agreed to longer term contracts to avoid this Olympic cycle.
