As fans and the league look to understand the rules regarding covid cases, the amount of cases on the Elks was too much to even think about coming east, cancelling the start of Week 4. It was in the books as a tie days before the game but we await whether there will be a deferred game...or not.
Montreal at Hamilton: Hamilton wins 27-10
With all the pressure of finishing first this year after its last crushing Grey Cup final loss, Hamilton has started the year 0-2. Dane Evans gets the call to fill in for injured Masoli, and he gets the job done. Montreal's Adams Jr., although always brimming with excitement, could not get it going.
BC at Ottawa: BC wins 24-12
The return of previous coach Campbell who joked on radio he may robotically end up heading to his previous home Ottawa dressing room. The heavy rains came out on full force; however, touchdowns did not. A kicker's duel to start followed by a QB sneak late in the second quarter by "don't-call-me-Mike" Reilly. Not much going for Ottawa on behalf of Nichols with suspicion of an injury.
Calgary at Winnipeg: Winnipeg wins 18-16
Despite enjoying home field advantage thus far, Calgary is only sitting at 1-2, with their only win coming from back up Jake Maier. Andrew Harris' return made his mark early in landing a touchdown (but a missed convert). A tight game, with a losing last second field goal attempt, handing a tight, low scoring affair to Winnipeg. Calgary at an unfamiliar 1-3 to start the season (two games with Bo and two games wihout).
