How the Canadian immigration system has been a demographic failure for decades with a chronically "aging population", nevermind impacts on pensions, healthcare, labour pools, birth rates and of course inflation. Time to discuss taking the beloved, virtuous, vote generating immigration institution out of government hands and making it independent like the Courts, Bank of Canada, etc. and based on real data, trends and economic forecasts.
