Two weeks into the mandatory inquiry and still no answers or evidence from or for the NDPLiberals' decision for Emergencies Act

"...Senator Donald Plett, the leader of the Opposition in the Senate, said the government was asking people to “trust us.”


“No credible explanation has been provided as to why the government needed these unprecedented and potentially dangerous tools,” he told the Senate during the debate.


However, Justice Paul Rouleau, the judge heading the commission looking into the invocation of the Emergencies Act, may finally get some answers. He requested that the Liberals waive cabinet confidentiality over documents related to the invocation, and they agreed.


Just what is in those documents and how it affected the decision of the government has yet to be revealed..."
