CFL Week 5: Great Games Despite Blowouts; Fa-BAR-do Does It Again

Winnipeg at Saskatchewan: Winnipeg Wins 23-8

Fa-BAR-do showed up again although despite his repeat unique play, was a losing effort regardless.  The momentum from last Grey Cup kept Winnipeg alive with some monumental play from Collaros and Harris.

Montreal at Ottawa: Montreal Wins 51-29

Montreal rained on Ottawa's season opener parade as Nichols struggled again with his new team.  Davis brought in to finish and looking like he may have a starter position as changes needed.  Montreal, in a breakout game for Adams Jr, trounces REDBlacks.

Toronto at Hamilton: Hamilton Wins 32-19

The 50 years battle of the Queen Elizabeth Way plays out again, and again Hamilton wins.  A hockey game broke out as a result of the heated rivalry.  Argos struggled as Arbuckle looking uncomfortable only starting his second game with the QB carousel.  Williams made the Argos pay with a kick off return which the fans loved and helped the TiCats feed off that energy as well as work from Acklin and Speedy Banks (out for next week).  Hamilton trounces Toronto.

Edmonton at Calgary: Calgary Wins 32-20

In a rare "battle of the basement" for these two western power houses, both teams matched each other into the last quarter, with Calgary stealing a late win from the tight lead held by Edmonton after a long and late drive by Harris capped by Wilder Jr (where was this in Toronto?!).  A missed field goal by Paredes looked like it may have been the death of Calgary but the Stamps came back from a four points deficit to steal the win and move to 2-3.
